This application would not load onto my 32 GB iPOD. I am running lastest operating system (3.1.2) on model MB376C.

I found that when I compared the app to me clapping, this app was off by 2 frames. Its not useful if I cant rely on it to sync the video and audio! I also found the mechanism for clapping not intuitive. Not a good clapboard app.
Very good.
Awesome app!! Perfect for DIY filmakers
Such a great app at a cheap price. Been fun an entertaining to use these past few days with my kids :)
A option to manually close the clapper would be great. Very basic features.
Is it just me or does the clack sound effect happen after the close? Makes it pretty much worthless for syncing audio.
Does everything as promised. My friends and I shot a "movie within a movie" with child actors playing actors. This was much cheaper and actually pretty hilarious for our child director to use. "Your phone is a clapboard?" "My phone does %$&#ing everything!"
If you want to use this for an actual film shoot, it doesnt work. The sound does not sync with the visual clap. Not happy.
We use it to compliment our family videos made with our FlipHD camera. Adds a nice touch to our videos :)
Cool idea, but the image and sound dont match. Bad for syncing audio.
Its slick and pretty but not all that useful. Besides the obvious problem of the clap visual and audio not being in sync - a must for sync sound - the tilt to operate clapper is awkward. The movement causes a blur just when you need the slate to be rock solid. They used to drill ACs on keeping a steady slate so the clap is sharp. Until they solve these issues, not ready for pro use; just a novelty.
need to add an adjustable FPS counter along with the time. The flash does little more then distract you as to if the clap sound is in sync with the animation.
This is the biggest slice of garbage in the app store. I want a refund, this garbage crashes half the time and looks and feels real trashy. The developers have to be the worst on the planet
I am an indie videographer that does a lot of on the run multi camera shoots. This is a GREAT app to give a sync point for 2,3 or more cameras when you are following the action and dont have the luxury of on site engineering. A great tool for the field.
This app hangs up when using the clap feature. You then need to trigger it a second time. Can be a little embarrassing when using with a client.
I was happy to find out you can flip your phone/ iPad around an the slate doesnt rotate.
I absolutely love this app! I am a filmmaker in Kentucky and dont want to purchase a very expensive clapperboard. I decided to look on the App Store, and the prices are through the roof! They may have some slight advances in features, but for 99 cents, this is a GREAT bargain! At first I was a little skeptical about the animation of the moving-out-of-frame slate, but in the end I enjoy it! I highly recommend this! The two updates I would enjoy is a selection to make the movie title in all caps. Maybe under settings? Lastly, I wish the text would shrink to a smaller size in the title area, so if the production name was long, it could still fit on the board without an ellipsis. But dont get me wrong! This is an amazing app! Thank you so much, Mr. Developer!
I needed an app that would allow me to show the exact time from the phones clock in front of a camera used to shoot legal depositions. I also wanted it to allow me to display the case number, witness name, date, and attorney names. I can do all of that on the phone app. Granted, I cant change the names of the fields (eg director, scene etc.) the iPad version allows a little bit more text to be displayed. I dont really need the clapper/audio feature, but I did some test shots. It seems the red dot displays a couple of frames before the sound is heard on my camera, so be aware of that if youre using it to sync audio. Also, the last numbers near the time--the frames number-- is completely random. It goes up to 20 something several times per second, when it should go from 0-30 only once per second. Not a big deal though. I dont use that number for anything anyway.
No clap sound! Worthless for a filmmaker!! The whole point is sound clap to stnc audio!
Volume up, sync sound checked, no clap sound. Pretty worthless.
